Konstantin Boyarsky

Principal viola at Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House, chamber musician, composer and visiting professor at London’s Royal College of Music, he was named “UK’s Best young Classical Composer” by the international webzine www.suite101.com in 2010.
Konstantin Boyarsky has written several compositions and arrangements for viola and other instruments, as well as two ballets, “Sleepers” and “Children of War”, created in collaboration with the Royal Ballet school of dancing. In 2008 he was chosen to compose chamber music for the Mezzo television channel. One piece in particular, “Mosaïque Musicale”, was enthusiastically received and rebroadcast around the world.
