Silvia Simionescu

Internationally acclaimed violist and winner of international competitions, including first prize at the Brescia International Competition and first prize at the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition (as a member of the Ligeti Trio). Since 2004, Silvia Simionescu is teaching viola and chamber music at the Basel Academy of Music.
